Craig Lister, the Director, has over 30 years experience as an exercise physiologist, initially working directly with people living with complex obesity and/or chronic back pain before moving into a combination of public health, NHS and V work.
Craig was part of the original technical expert group that developed exercise referral for England, has worked across regional leadership roles in the NHS, held national roles in Public Health England and is now recognised as an expert in social prescribing with a particular focus on supporting the voluntary sector.

We have not adapted to our new world; how could we have done so in such a short amount of time? We are beholden to our nature to eat as much as we can, rest when we can and thrive on social interaction; in today's world of high calorie food, inactive work and play, and increasing isolation it’s no surprise that we are becoming obese and unwell, only a surprise that anyone is surprised!
